I don't like the way Vox looks. Just doesn't look like a very powerful dragon at all...
well she does only have 32k hp after all...
check out the spiderman cover that is linked from that page, now thats is a fantastic illustration.
well she's cursed! not powerful anymore, or maybe more powerful! I dunno.

I've found EQ II's look to be rather less then inspiring all around.

That Iksar has birthin' hips! Guess you'd have to if you're gonna pop out a whole clutch of eggs at a time.
Actually I think it may just be the camera angle (at hip level and looking up) combined with those flaps of leather coming off the hips which makes the hips bigger and head smaller.
While I've never particularily liked the Iksar race, they look pretty good:

I still think she looks like Jar-Jar. Which is a sad, sad, thing.
As for other models, I'll have a hard time taking the game seriously unless they improve the skin tone. Current skins make the toons looks like they're made of plastic or something. creepy x 3.

I think I may have found out why characters' skin doesn't look very good on some screens; here are two images I took from identical settings and seconds apart, only with the left image I used fraps and the right image I used printscreen:

See how washed out and dull the left image is? The characters really do look good in the character creation utility. I think EQ2 might just have a problem with some capture utilities (I've always thought the screenshots don't do the characters justice).
He seems to be missing a chromosome somewhere...
I hope i get that inquest cover and not some stupid shitty ass Yug-u-blow cover...

Vox is far from impressive. Any dragon should be awe inspiring, regardless of their place in the heirarchy. Lucan looks like a real badass* himself...

Vox looks so little. I always picture dragons as being so huge and in need of many a person to challenge their authority.
It seems like it's just poor perspective work that makes Vox seem so small. Not too mention Vox looks like a Snake with Wings rather than a dragon. I always pictured dragons as immense beasts.
Vox just looks like she hasn't been fed since EQ. I have some screen shots somewhere of fighting Vox ... I vaguely remember her butt looking a bit bigger. Maybe she's going for a modeling contract? Going to pose for Play Dragon?

I always picture dragons as magical beasts, and by such a definition, that they can change their appearance to fit the environment/mood/virgin/etc.
So to see Vox smallish, doesn't bother me.

hm isn't lady Vox supposed to be an ice dragon, not an undead dragon?
[have to admit, although i have 700+ levels in EQ i never bothered to have a look at Vox. By the time i heard of a well known rogue that used to pickpocket Lady Vox and so earn his university scholarship on eBay - after which SoE/Verant made magical items non-pickpocketable, it somehow lost its lure to go there...]

eah ? as i remmber that it was shown to SOE/Verant and that they changed it fast , i never heard / read that he sold pickpoket from vox on e-bay
and if i'm not mistaken , he was the first to get ragebringer and had a full suit of warrior planer armor before they added rogue planer armor
