I'm loving the fact that as you walk by characters in Freeport they express themselves quite openly. Some of my favorites so far:
"What's the difference between your butt and your face? Yeah, I can't tell either."
"Lots of things can happen here. Pray that I'm not one of them."
"A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Feeling guilty?"
The Teir'Dal citizens are particularly bitter. They remind me of Erudites from the days of yore. :hmph Arrogant SOBs.

"Hiss" - various cats as you wander around as a Ratonga, usually accompanied by a pounce.

Try walking around as a Half Elf, everyone has a negative comment for you.
Half perfect, half disease, still disgusting.
As a ratonga the cats will hiss and snarl at you and the rats will occaisonally 'follow you around curiously'. The reverse is true (aside from the hissing and snarling) for Kerrans.
I love how condescending most of the NPCs in Freeport treat you.

^ has to be my favorite one yet.
"Did you see the hair on that girl?! Wow!"
"Why short ones want to hurt us?"
"Oh, wow...I'm a gnoll!" (something similar to that from Fippy)
Another funny thing I noticed was in 'Temple Street' (ratonga and gnome slums of Freeport). There is an NPC ratonga named 'Chef Schmolko' (or something close to that) who says some very dubious things and can occaisonally be found chasing cats around the zone. :D

my gnomes are always getting crap from people. Being told to stay away from ogres, or the typical trash talk about tinkering. Nice..

By far my all time favorite isn't a zinger, it's something an Undead Knight said to me as he ran up to attack my low-level cleric...
"You have pretty eyes."
Scary on so many levels.

My favorite one so far is a response from an Ogre guard in Freeport when hailing him while playing my gnome....
"Gnome kick, fun game! Hur Hur"
Don't try to type legibly when you're very tired and bored at work... it doesn't work
