Ok...so I went through the talent builder a couple of times. What I came up with (below) is based mostly on how I'm playing now. I am the tank/damage dealer for my group using a mace and a dagger (at the moment). Most of the stuff I'm fighting (at 18) is dying so fast I very rarely get to use either my backstab (since I'm never behind the mob) or my Eviscerate. Matter of fact I rarely get more than two Combo points built up. I'm not sure how much PvP I will be doing, but I'm guessing I'm going to continue (for a while anyways) as the point man in combat.

Sorry, prattling on here...

So any one have any advice on modifications?

nearby opponent. Lasts 15 seconds.

Subtlety Talents (5 points)

EDIT: Ok...I revamped this with the suggested changes. I think I sorta understand why - got confused with Kidney Punch/Rupture. Any other comments would be appreciated!

Thanks,

I think you need to majorly retool your assassination tree. Dump Improved Expose Armor and Remorseless Attack (and Kidney Shot if you ask me) and pick up Malice and Lethality for sure. Also I personally think Murder points are better spent elsewhere.

I personally like MoD better than Camo, but that's a preference choice really.

If you're grouping, do you use gouge? Don't really see a reason for improved gouge.
Do you use Slice and Dice a good bit? I never use it, but if you do, I guess Improved S&D is ok; but you also have Improved Evis. It seems you would basically use only one of those talents Once you get some combo points, you either go S&D or Evis.
Camo-you will have two skill upgrades at level 20 and 40 to raise your stealth speed. I only put 2 points in Camo, and speed is fine for me.
Personally, I think MoD is important.

He took gouge because it is the only feasible choice for the start of that tree. It is kind of just what you are stuck with.

I would dump the improved instant poison points and put them both into vile poisons to increase your damage.

For a tanking rogue, I think everything else looks pretty good to me, although I am not totally sure why you even took camo. I would probably drop that as you aren't going to be going into the sub tree you could put the points elsewhere to much greater effectiveness. The MoD and Camo are both in the same category as improved gouge. You take them if you want the tree, but don't take them for their abilities.
