Dark Age of Camelot Increases Subscription Fees

Yesterday Mythic Entertainment announced that starting February 3rd, Dark Age of Camelot subscription fees will increase. The new pricing will be as follows:

$14.95 per month
$40.35 for 3 months
$71.70 for 6 months
$137.40 for 1 year

Wow. Competing with EQ at that price will be interesting. They still getting 12.95 a month?

I know they have quite a cult following, but those prices will be tough to swallow considering EQII and World of Warcraft are taking in those kinds of fees. :blink

Seriously, I would have expected a price decrease considering how old that game is and the number of subscribers it has. This is very unusual.
