Clinton they always tried to make seem taller.
Yeah that shocked me as well they always portray him as small. Kinda shocked me with all the models they have listed, I've always thought ooh i bet they're tall like yasmine bleeth, but she's only 5 5

The fact that there are only 13 famous people as tall or taller makes me wonder how I compare to society at large.

Apparently, Bess Myerson and Tony Curtis were both 5' 12" tall. :brow
Michael Crichton (never knew he was 6'10")
Yep he is quite tall and has a thin build. I met him at the LA Festival of Books once, and in his book "Travels" (good book btw, quite different from his other stuff) he has a story about visiting somewhere in Africa and feeling odd for being so tall.
It lists 2 heights for Mel Gibson, 5' 10" and 5' 9" I'm nearly positive he's 5'9" -- perhaps even closer to 5' 8". I'm guessing they got this information from various sources and he has different stats reported somewhere.

I'm glad to say that I can call Hitler, among other things, a shorty.

Everytime I've met this guy (at conventions) he's always been sleeping in his booth during the show. I never get to sleep in my booth :(

Al Pacino is short
There is a women's basketball player, Anne Donovan, who is an inch taller then me (6'8). I have never met a female taller then me. This boggles the mind.
Gillian Anderson is just the right height for me to kiss her forehead without stooping.

i'm pretty sure arnie isn't 6'2" - last time I walked past him in town I'm pretty sure he's a little shorter than I am (I'm 6'1")
Also - margaux hemmingway wasn't quite 6'0" either.... 5'10 or 5'11. her sister is my godmother.

I think Wayne Gretzky was kinda over-rated. Nothing like Bobby Hull. He was a star on a team of losers, but put him with some regular all-stars, he doesn't stand out much. Of course, he was no Gordon Bombay.
And Darth, I feel you there. Really HOT chicks too!

I think Wayne Gretzky was kinda over-rated. Nothing like Bobby Hull. He was a star on a team of losers, but put him with some regular all-stars, he doesn't stand out much. Of course, he was no Gordon Bombay.
Put him in a group of the greatest players of all time and he's still scored almost 100 goals more than the next closest of them. :P

I doubt the accuracy of a lot of these. They have Andre the Giant listed at 7'4" but he was really only around 6'10".
