Here we are again with another installment. I decided to make things interesting and make the first photo of each game an 'artsy' one :D

As soon as I figure out how to get this thing to go into "super macro" mode, sure (and try to remember how to host on this ISP). Per the instructions, holding down the macro button doesn't seem to do it...
*edit* NM, figured it out, had to switch shooting mode.
Unfortunately, even in "super macro" mode, it doesn't look like the G6 will be able to pull off the closeups you are posting. I think it has a minimum of a 2" focus for macro mode. I will still play around with it some later, though.

Will spoiler this, I got in trouble over #4!

I told her I had no clue what #4 was and she said, "It looks like the top to dish soap, looks like you are not washing enough pots and pans!"[/spoiler:b2bfc4ebb6]
It took me a while to get 4, I actually realized it as I was typing up my reply :).

2" is still plenty. Make sure that when you shoot, you shoot at the highest resolution possible. This will allow you to essentially "zoom in" in the picture. Many of the pictures above are not how they looked when I took them, but rather a small segment from a much larger image.
I like to take the picture in full resolution, load it up in Photoshop, set the selection tool to set size (640x480 for the above), frame what I want and then crop. My camera has 4MPs and yours has something like 7.1MP, so you'll be able to zoom in on a MUCH larger picture. Below is a sized down example of how much is usually cropped out:

I also suggest shooting in the smallest aperture your camera will afford, since it creates those neat DOF effects :) I'd be happy to help you guys get started later, but mind you I'm just a beginner too.
Well, that shows you how much of a n00bster I am (the wife is the camera guru). I never even thought about a crop like that.
That would be some amazing zooming in for a non professional setup :)
Ah well, that's why I bought her the camera and I will stick to the camcorder (I like the 25x optical zoom on it, too much fun).

You were close on 5, Darthender, but it's actually a rotating kerr black hole who's event horizons are approaching eachother. It's just a lil' something from a side project I've been kicking around ;)

Here’s my hints:
6. Hmm.. difficult to give a hint on this without completely giving it away. Let’s just say that when I wash my windows, I usually encounter this item.
8. It’s not a fork, but this item can often be found in close proximity to them.
9. It’s not uncommon for this item to be touched by a sponge
10. This is from an article of clothing is worn by some people who do a certain type of exercise.

Yep, that's the rest of them. Perhaps my hints were a little too easy :P Next week I'm going to post a more "zoomed out" photo of shots that haven't been guessed by the second day. I'm also going to bump it down to 5 pictures instead of 10--sorry guys! It's difficult finding cool things to shoot.

Well, technically I didn't get the squirt bottle nozzle right. How the heck did you get that so dirty! (It looks like it's had a lot of hard water deposits)
