SUMMARY: Cindy Bowens, Sigil Games Online Community & Events Manager, announced yesterday that Sigil would be holding another Fanguard for the Vanguard fans. This time the event will be held in San Diego, California.

Isn't that the same hotel where the first official EQ gathering was? If not, it's the one next door or something.
I'm definately planning to swing over and say hi to some folks, not sure about actually attending the all day saturday event. We'll have to see how good Santa treats my wallet.

I'm contemplating making it down there for this one. Gotta see how school and work shape up at the end of January first.

In the same way you can be a fan of an author or a movie director; the fact that you like what you see from the game and you like what the game designer has done in the past makes you want to see the completed game.

Man why does everything always take place in California..ya i know, dont answer that :censored. Would like to go to this sort of thing but i would need to take about a week off from work because i hate flying. Florida sucks guys dont ever move here.

No, the people who went to the first fanguard in Las Vegas were the vanguard of vanguard. Execption being me, I went there to meet Fricka and Glip, gamble, drink, and see a band.
Looks like I MIGHT be able to go to this. If, when I know 100%, there's no rooms left, anyone feel like lettin' me sleep on teh floor?

Still no word on when I'll go on leave. Was supposed to be today, but ALL HELL BROKE LOSE. And no leave = no fanguard for Leni.
Look for a rant hall post in the upcoming days, the story is complicated and full of rage. :zombie
