We've got no less than 10 video clips of the State of Vanguard panel (http://www.thesafehouse.org/mugshots/videos/FG0106/index1.php). Including clips on diplomacy, group crafting & intercontinental travel, player houses / towns & Developer Communications, "Standing guard" & Housing Permissions, Mounted Combat & PvP, Vulmane, Weather system & Underwater mechanics and more.

BTW, Good luck with writing code for weather/effects...dunno if ppl realize there would be 36 cd's of code just for weather (exaggeration yes, but not by much, lol)....too hot- weapon slips in hands, too cold- heat spells don't work, raining- mud abounds and range of vision deteriorates, snow- slip slidin' awaaay, thunderstorm- hmmm, wouldn't wanna be in full plate armor (lol), windy- good luck hitting anything with a bow, etc. etc.... Weather is kwl for aesthetics (sp?) and sound, but other then that, can get a little too involved and may take more puting than necessary....

Brad..you are a dork, no if ands or buts about it. However theres good news! Your not just a regular dork, you my friend are "The King of Dorks". Your the leader of all the MMO dorks. Just enjoy it! Dont be ashamed. I'm not sure what Jeff is yet though..hmmm, ill get back on this. :ontome

I've just started hearing and learning about Vanguard and every new thing I hear makes me more interested in this game. I'm quite glad that I stumbled accross Jeff and Brads clips and this site. :smile Many of my questions have been answered and I'm looking forward to hearing more.... Thanks Guys! :smile

You know what would make the next Fanguard truly awesome? Karaoke. I think everyone would enjoy the drunken antics of someone on stage singing some power ballad from the late 80's.
They do Karaoke at the FanFaire's now, I could see it being fun for Fanguards too :)

Its wierd, almost every dev interview or panel group ive ever seen has been pretty much stuffy and scripted answers. The guys from Sigil look and act like gamers, you can actually see and hear the excitement when they talk about the game.
I just cant wait to log into Vanguard =)
