Curious as to how much infamy everyone has?

On varking the average seems to be around 300.. and on a side note, what good is it?

Infamy is basically just bragging rights right now, or knowing who does pvp. I use it to kinda let me know if I should watch the guy who just ran past me so that I don't get ganked while not paying attention.

Btw, my infamy is around 280.
