Does anyone have sources for hackmaster? i am dying to play it but i don't have enough to buy 3 books at 50 bucks each. I would appreciate it if someone could help...Mods, if this is illegal, feel free to delete this

If you want to play hackmaster, you might as well find someone's first edition AD&D books on ebay for cheap...

While they added some more races and classes, massive charts for flaws/quirks and the concept of honor, the basic rules ARE first edition AD&D - basically, I understand they actually have license to use them, and then parodied them to death.

While I admire the fact that they finally got them out, I dislike the direct relation to AD&D, AND I really hate the fact that it pins down the rules in the comic book - much less making something up on the fly because it's funny, more "see Hackmaster PHP page 25".

So what do u reccomend? i have the basic set for adnd and i downloaded GURPS lite from the website, any other good games? i can't seem to find any others besides these 3 tho.

I rather like playing Amber, which is diceless, so if you've read the books by Roger Zelazny, it's rather easy to find rules for it...

Thx. Find the rules as in online or buy? cuz the stall i go to is lacking in stock mostly only adnd, hackmaster and warhammer if i remember correctly.

You can probably find a decent outline of the rules online... search for Amber and DRPG.
