I can't justify getting it right now. I think Infogrames is making a mistake pricing the game so high. I held off buying Planescape Torment for 2 years because it never went down in price.

It's like $40 at Costco isn't it?

Not at Costco that I've seen... Costco is pretty expensive, I'd guess $50 there.

$45 at my Costco. Lowest I've seen.

It's cheaper than Everquest. Monthly fees on EQ = about $150 bucks / year.

I didn't have too much of a problem paying $55 for it, I'm pretty happy with it.

It's price is competitive for most other brand new games out there. and it has potential for so much more. 1 Crow bad news
2 Crows myrth
3 Crows a wedding
4 Crows a birth
5 Crows for riches
6 Crows a thief

Right now the potential remains just potential. Without a good batch of opening sales, the game is not going to have the user base to stay around.

60 bucks for 100 hours of entertainment? That's a pretty darn good deal, MMORPGS notwithstanding.

Heck, for 60 bucks, if I can get 10 or 12 hours of enjoyment out of something it's about the same as a movie Llabaktharr Gigglegiggler
51 Lawncare Facilitator and gnomosexualizer of da ladies (retired)
And introducing: Heremon, Level 38 Firbolg Bard of Percival, Grandmaster Smith
Sanditari Gigglegiggler, 35 'keen 'chanter
100% socializer 53% explorer 33% achiever 13% killer and 100% lover.
AGM for Camelot, Crusaders of the Realms

Can ya dig it?

For how much fun I am having in SP, it was worth twice what I paid. Some seriously good fun. I spent 9 hrs. playing Thursday night, had a blast & I was not tired like I usually am after doing the same amount of time on EQ.

Being a weakling ( 67 hp, 14 str w/o gear) the game is a bit more challanging foir me. Plus, I am doing alot of the side quests in game, so slower advancement of overall plot.

I paid $54.99. That's 1 week of fast food and junk food money. A good trade off for me!

€44 here.

Can't complain.. that's about 8 tickets to the cinema. And it took me more than 50-60 hours to finish the solo-campaign. ShadowCross Bladesong
