Mighty on Weapons

What exactly does it do? I can't for the life of me remember or find it anywhere. I've seen it a couple composite bows where it was Mighty +3, but I can't tell from just that what it does.

When using a Bow, a character's strength bonus is not added to the damage. Using a Mighty Bow, the character's strength bonus is added to the damage, up to a maximum of the Mighty rating.

Just make sure to watch out if you see any dogs walking around with the 'Mighty' flag.
