ok, I used my first trap. Up to this point, I could not be botehred by them, even though I ahd pumped some points into setting them.

All I can say is : wow!

I was getting the stuffing beat outta me!

used 2 traps and mob went to half life! sweet!

I am now a trap convert! :P

I got addicted to etting traps in Baldur's gate II. if you KNOW where a bad guy will be there was no better way than boxing them in with traps so they couldn't go anywhere before dying.

The thing I loved about traps was that after a certain level, I never had to buy any more. I could just recover traps that were active and continue on. I felt it really gave the traps skill some depth.

i broke down and bought some in chapter 3 since klauth was invulnerable to the fire ones and that's all i seemed to get. i ended up with at least 20 deadly fire traps in that chapter

traded em in for some electricity and blob of acid ones from the halfling at the bar
