Chromatic?
What exactly is "chromatic" resistance? I assume it's something from a time AE but it might be something else.
Has anyone run into this?

Not that I know anything, but perhaps it rolls against the average of your resists, or randomly selects one to roll against each time it is cast?

All I know is, I'm gonna be having nightmares about your sig, Ali. *shudder.

Random Rolling resist sounds the most feasable considering that if a character can get 200 to all resists (and just about anyone can do that very easilly. Hell a VT geared character with a bard can probably hit 2300+ collective) you effectively have +1000 resistance versus this -200 spell.
The random resist is interesting, and the idea makes me think this is an LDON spell designed to be used against PoTime equiped guilds with typically 250+ unbuffed resists in all areas.
It also begs the question of whether this might be used with PC spells. New wizard nukes? New one-shot-random resistance debuf? Heavy damage weapon proc on a random resist?

there are two new resist checks
chromatic and prismatic
chromatic takes your lowest resist and checks against it
prismatic takes your average resist and checks against it
hope that helps
