The Subject says it.

Whats the spec requirement for the bonus.

What bonus?

Testing indicates that the celtic dual/dual wield % formula is:

25 + ( 0.25 x char level ) + ( 0.5 x spec level ) -- Huff McTuff, 41 Nightshade, Pendragon
-- Nightshade Team Lead

I heard that if you spec over (I believe it was 20 but thats what I am asking) in celtic dual/dual wield, you get a dual wield bonus. WHich means you should have more sucessful dual wields. They set a number of the mininum skill points needed to get this bonus (low 20's). It was in a patch I think 2 months ago when they were working on dual wielding.

I'll look for it.

- Dual wield and Celtic dual wield percentages have been increased slightly. Lower level (pre-20th) dual-wielding classes won't notice much difference, but up at the higher levels, you'll notice that you attack much more often with both weapons.

It says "level", not "spec". Look at Huff's formula again.

Also notice the "much difference" line. By Huff's formula, there will be a difference pre 20th - However, it will be a much smaller difference. (At most 5% more at 20, as opposed to 12.5% more at 50)

Huff's Formulae works out to a Max cap of 63% of time dual attacking.

Base 25%
50 spec +25%
1/4 Level 13%

Since weapon, CS, stealth are all MANDATORY I believe your choice is between envenom and DW/CD.

In 15 seconds at Skill 50 an Envenom Assassin will do 370 extra points damage.

In 15 seconds a fully specc'ed DW/CD will do and extra 306 points damage. (Note thats extra 63% dual vs 38% Duel Wield). Thats allowing for FAST weapons. If you prime hand a slower weapon this will fall of dramatically (158 extra points damage with a Guarded Rapier for instance).

As the above poster says, it's close enough to be your call. But the Poisons also allow disease, enervating , and some day mebbe the slow poison won't be a useless waste of coin.

Just pointing out that for the same cost of taking a spec from 47-50 (+3), you can take a spec (Celtic Dual, for instance) from 1-20 (+19). A template of (roughly) 40/40/40/35/20 will end up well, regardless of which spec is associated with which number (unless the 20 is weaponskill).
