Can I name my character "Wruce Bayne" and parade around the strrets in fine-tailored business suits by day and change into my alter-ego "Man Bat" to defend the streets at night, totally disregarding the fact that I've no time at all left for sleeping? Or can you only have one personality in this game?

Each character slot holds for one character(there are 8 slots). So no, no alter-ego stuff.

Although I have heard of some RP guilds that make alter-egos for their hero through the character generator and use another slot up just to be able to role play as said ego!

That sounds cool. I think I'll have fun with that feature alone.

Shouldn't your superhero name be MatBan?

The power gameer in me doesn't allow for alter egos.

hehe, I admit it, I have a toon named Nakai (Nakai Laughingpup wouldn't fit hehe) who is the same height, body structure, and hair, but in jeans and a t-shirt heh.

I even debated about whether I should use a "jeans and t-shirt" version of Nightprowl for the Nightprowl comic (http://www.thesafehouse.org/reviews/showarticle.php?id=54&page=1) (page four she decides to quit, and Ms. Liberty talks her out of it). I made a plain clothes character named "Cathy Watts" (Nightprowl's alter ego) and did some screenshots (I was going to have a few at the tram, and then go to Ms. Liberty, but I ended up just using two pictures at Ms. Liberty). Just to be safe and hopefully not confuse people, on the bottom of that page of the comic I wrote:
* Note: Nightprowl's change of costume is artistic license for the story; currently you can't change costumes on a whim.

Unless your just a ninja like me and your always a ninja.

It's like being the Thing, the Thing doesn't have an alter ego! He's always the mother****ing Thing!

My friends and I, since we're playing on Virtue, just decided to make ourselves if we had superpowers. Lots of Jeans and T-Shirts in the 'Bar Room Heroes'.
