Cap is 15 correct or was it changed? Also, Mental Clarity doesnt go toward that 15, making the cap of innate mana regen 18. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!

Could anyone tell me some of the Flowing thought items available that are either no drop or not terribly difficult to get (READ: do not need a raid force to get). I mean besides the Flowing slime boots and the POTC earring

I have been unable to find any on searches thru Allahazams and EQcasters.

The 7th Coldain Shawl is FT 1, the 8th is FT 3. Well, technically you need a "raid force" to finish the 8th shawl, but two strong groups is total overkill for it.

Also, there is Mask of Contemplation, which drops in HoH:

everquest.allakhazam.com/...item=17402

I'm trusting Allakhazam's that this actually exists and still drops; I've never seen one personally.

All other FT items would require some kind of raid force. Restless Burrower in Acrylia is pretty easy and drops a couple FT1 items. ------------------------------------

cap for worn manaregen is 15. As far as I know, there is no total cap for mana regen.

The best place to ask this would be at www.graffe.com in the forums as they somethimes do alot of parsing to figure out mana numbers and other mana related figures (like the mana hard cap and the cap on +mana via buffs) Mdar Kelf Wizard RtalRogueTest your sig Here

Does anyone have evidence that either confirms or denies the theory of Flowing Thought of the same number (ie 2 FT 2 items) stacking with one another?

So basically if you wear 2 ft 2 items do you have ft 4 or just get benefit from one of them?

I've heard people defend either side of this argument quite well but haven't seen any hard evidence.

personally I think they would stack because I seem to recall a patch a while ago which "fixed" ft to stack. Also if they don't stack why is the effect on ornate bracers ft 2? Why not put the ft on another piece if you can't benefit from the ft from both.

I'm just getting sick of not knowing the answer to this question when thinking of upgrades, etc.

Thanks for your thoughts

When FT item started there was a bug if you had 2 FT1 items you will have a total of FT1 and not FT2 that has been fixed.
It was tested and found fixed.
Check at wiz and chanter boards they did most of the testing. Beasthealer druid 65

FT items of any type (i.e. I, II, IV, X) stack with themselves and other FT items of any size up to a total of 15 worn mana regen. This was proven quite some time ago, though I know not where the thread is. Labiara Stankfoot

It includes any mana regen gained from worn items, but not from buffs. Edited by: labiara at: 5/1/03 4:38:13 am

Worn item FT max is 15 as was stated earlier.

You can though go above that number with spells/AA abilities.I play a wizard who has Mental Clarity III and also Allegiant Familiar. Between MC III and Familiar thats a total of 11 FT that does not count towards the FT via item cap.
