Ok, I can't for the LIFE of me figure out how to get the camera to swing around 180 degrees from looking right at my butt to looking at my face... any help here?

I had someone say something about 3rd mouse button to rotate camera around to front, but pressing down on the scroll wheel isn't getting it to work.

I kind of do it just by habit now, but I believe a right-click and hold, and moving the cursor moves the camera and character, while right-click and hold, combined with a 3rd mouse button click and hold allows you to move the camera without moving the character.

Try pageup and Pagedown. One of them lets you rotate around yourself without moving the character, and the other snaps the camera back to the default position.

Can't remember which is which.

I just logged on and off, just holding the 3rd mouse button down should allow you to move the camera around without moving the character.

Since I use the 3rd mouse button to move the camera, I find the easiest way to re-center the camera back to behind the avatar is to quickly scroll the mouse wheel into the avatar (which will reset to a behind the back view once it gets to the first person viewpoint).

Pressing down the mousewheel works fine for me for camera rotation. and rolling it controls the zoom.
