View Full Version : A little tip I picked up about Combining Enhancements...
Lets say for example, you have 2 Damage Training enhancements in your power, and you want to upgrade one to a Dual Origin Enhancment. You buy a new DO enhancment, and you have to eliminate one of the existing 2, right?
Well, did you know you can combine enhancments that are already in a power?
Take the 2 Damage training ones currently in the power, Combine the two of them, and then drop in the DO in the newly empty slot.
Hey, Its not much, but its better than overwriting it completely.
I did something similar where I had two 10 dmg ones, and I found a 10 end reduction, was able to make one 10+ and then slot the 10 end.

Just remember 2 separate enhancements are always better than 1 with any amount of +'s.

How do you combine them? Just drop a new one on top of the old one, when its on the power?

Click on the power's name in the enchancement screen. It'll take you to the combne screen from there.
You can combine DOs with the same effect too, regardless of their origins. For instance as a science scrapper I can combine a sci/tech damage DO with a sci/mutant damage DO as if they were exactly the same.

Not quite. You can combine DOs that share an origin, not any and all.
They don't have to share your origin?

Right. So when buying DOs, it is best to get some of both types you can use, that way, you have maximum combining potential in case you get DO drops.

Okay, you cannot combine any 2 DOs that share an origin, it has to be YOUR origin.
I tried this today - had a magic/mutant DO in my power, wanted to add a mutant/whatever DO, wasn't possible. (I am a magic hero)
