Tallon Teaming

A friend of mine and I started on Tallon Zek. I decided to make a gnome necro and he made a gnome mage. On Solusek, I have a 24 necro who I always dueled successfully with. So, I thought this would be a good team because of the 2 tanks, necro with his dots/fears/slows/drains and mage w/ variety of pets for certain situations/ decent dd's and summon ability of certaint items (not a big bonus but can save money and time when summoning food, especially @ lower lvls when you have very little) . Plus, if were not grouped together, we can always solo.

My question: Is this a good group or am I dreaming? Of course any group played right is deadly, but would this be a good start?

Necro/Mage would be a great combo. Add a druid or wizard for transportation and you'd have a very strong three character crew. Majestyk, Rogue, Shanks, Vallon Zek!We as Shanks, have chosen the hard path. In the hardness of it, is where we find the glory.

Mage and Necro are a awesome team.. My lvl 20 necro <Soulz> and a guild mate mage brought down a Bard the other night on Vallon Zek among other vicims..(hehe). Just dark, sic pets ..they are finished..

The problem with that team is they are basically useless in dungeons. And they can't solo/team up togather there. Otherwise, not much can stand up to them, especially at low levels where your pets will rock any tanks.
