Hotkey tips for pvp?....

I play a new rogue on Rallos Zek and am wondering what sort of hotkey set-up other experienced rogue-pvpers use...

If you could list the 10 keys you use (and perhaps why) I would really appreciate it. I am fairly experienced in pvp but I am just curious if there are things I may be missing (ie. a hotkey that attacks and then hides for instance).

/doability disarm
its on my mouse thumb button (I havea 3 thumb buttons)
my bow is also on a thumb button and the last is evade
I have a cosider key
/con
/guildstatus
/loc
/doability sense heading

Well I don't really have anything but I ought to. My hotkey banks 1 and 2 are completely full as it is... here is what I have in bank 1:

Autoattack | Backstab
Hide | /assist
Disarm | Instill Doubt (

Instill doubt | Hide
backstab | range weapon OR my /con,/guildst button. Depends on if i have rbf equiped or not
pick pocket | sneak
disarm | nerf shaped pumice
assist | bind wound

Now when i play, i use the number pad. 5 still centers my view, but 7 toggles autoattack and 9 fires my BS. The enter button on the numpad uses my range or /con,/guildst button while the '+' above it uses disarm. Del is jump and ins is my duck. Now i got any button i may need to use with PvP in my hotbuttons and the really important ones at my fingertips. ~Takarae Taekmoor~

Yeah I just changed sit to Z today and replaced the 10'th slot with a /con, /guildsta, /whot social (/whot = /whotarget, very good command!). Also I have the 7th - 10th keys on Q W E R so I am not stretchin everywhere.

How did you set up your third mouse key (I have one also) for EQ? I can't seem to figure it out.

I play with these as my relivant keys and it works well, everything is within reach without moving my fingers much:

Autoattack: Q
Backstab: 1
Strafe left/right: A/S
Backup: Z
Move forward and turning: mouse

my mouse has 6 buttons total, 3 thumb buttons. you have to program the mouse to activate keys, eq allows you to put each comand on 2 different keys so I just program my mouse and eq to share 3 keys that I use for those three macros.
to program the second key binding in eq "right" click the key and you will be able to bind on a different key than the one it is bound to now.

those 3 thumb buttons are great in pvp when I dont have to take my hands off the movment keys to bs or pop off a few arrows.


play tribes, even tribes one is fine. the game takes you through a world of 3d movement that makes eq seem slow in comparison. Diabalein Avidya
