How exactly do you get these? Normally they come from ogre guards. But what is otherwise a nice piece of of charisma equipment because it saves lots of plat in the long run, seems very rare because no one kills ogre guards. Do you have a crude stein, and if so, where did it come from?
Come on, don't tell me no one has a crude stein! I had 48 points of charisma gear on a bluebie server (base 50 charisma), charisma's pretty important for being wealthy!

Never actually camped one myself, but I've bought about 3-4 of them for various characters for about 200-300pp each.

I could have sworn there is a quest for crude steins, although I think it might be just for dark races. So I guess ya just have to buy one if you're a lighty.

anyone can do the moggok quest, chanters just have the ability to work around faction easier. Diabalein Avidya

I think there are two ways to get the crude stein and they are through the gatorsmash maul quest. One point is killing the orc runner in Butcherblock and turning in his note to the ogres. The other way is killing the two dark elf Ambassadors and turning their hearts in--you get a crude stein if you don't have one instead of the gatorsmash maul. These are more valuable than stein of moggoks so I will try to do this quest with my enchanter.
