250! Yay!

As of September 15, 2002...

After countless Spirit of Sloth vials and 109 days, 12 hours of played time on Delissandra...

I've finally acheived 250 skill in Make Poison, plus have a Decanter of the Apothecary to bring me to 252!

A few notes:

I seemed to get more skill raises when I pumped up Dex as well as Int, rather than just Int alone. I experimented with a few different combinations...I had an 84 int, and a Dex around 160 when I did my last 5 points, which took me about a half hour if that.

The Decanter of the Apothecary is just a great item!

Get two Opal Encrusted Steins for purchasing reagents and selling back poisons - also remember that Mask of Deception is +13 CHA.

Congrats!!! Hellyeah, but it feels good to know you don't have to grind SoS anymore. =)

For Poison Making your skill ups go by the highest of Dex/Int/Wis - its easier usually for a rogue to get Dex up the highest as our gear often comes with Dex increases. So upping your Dex is the easiest way to get faster skill ups and skill ups = more success.

Two Opal steins are a must for buying components and selling back potions. The +25 CHA in each hand will get you to the max discount on prices even if you are dirty dark elf like myself.

I used to use the soulbinders to proc my primal, that way I would have maxed str, agi and dex for skill building. Alas they nerfed the soulbinders :/

It actually is an upgrade to my range slot, so it's sitting there unless I have to use ranged weapons to pull...which my new Mrylokar's Gaunts should alleviate the need of.

I didnt even touch my wis/int all below 100, however my str/dex/agi were 255, and I raised from 0 to 250 in about 3 days with a couple hours work each day.

Aye, it seems to take into account the higher of INT, WIS, or DEX... had I realized that, I would have been piling on my DEX gear, not scrounging for INT gear...
