Are they all on the same resist modifier or what? I use paralyze I in PvP all the time (just because I had a ton of components in the bank and its cheap), but it doesn't land 90% of the time on people my same level. Anyone have better luck with any other higher tier poisons or what? most people on my server dont have anywhere near 100 pr at my level. what level are you? i have 60pr as a paladin i could have 80 but often dont put it up cuz im lazy. you need to attack them when their not ready. as a rouge be sneaky. hope they dont have see invis. and attack them at the best time possible. when their in the middle of battling a mob is a good time. if the first thing you use is blind poison then they wont be able to target you. hold off on backstab until he has very low hp. keep piercing and the mob fighting him will help you out. just make sure the mob doesnt kill him this is why you save backstab. when his hp is very low use the BS hopefully it will kill him. if it doesnt then you gotta race the mob for the kill. if the blind wears off then your in trouble. pcs cant pull hp gear when their blinded, if they do they run the risk of dropping something or clicking something that they dont wanna click. if they are accually able to pull the hp gear then they are lucky. they cant tell what their hp is and when to pull the gear. that or you can wait until the mob gets his hp down and he is almost dead or dead. then apply a strong direct poisons and backstab him. if that dont kill him have your finger on auto attack to finish the job. this is unfair but we are by no means a fair class. for max effectiveness wait til they sit down and bs for max damage. if you dunno about their resists consider using lower resist poisons. they dont stack but if you wanna make sure someone doesnt resist a poison then chain them. use blind hope it works. apply minus 10 resist, use it, apply minus 20 use it. then dispel dispel dispel. all their buffs are gone but the poison isnt since its poison based. now apply snare, use, then apply blind and only backstab until the other blind wears off, then blind again and tank him to death. this can require alot of poisons so u might wanna skip a few steps but this is a very good way to prevent the person your attacking from resisting or getting away. if they start to gate use backstab. it works like bash if it connects. system shock is also good. try to get your apply skill high so you can quickly apply poisons otherwise you waste time. this isnt a surefire idea. i havent even tried it yet, but i think it would work on a server where above all else magic resists are the most important.
