Max ally is NOT needed. if i remember correctly high high warmly is ok.

My mage cons warmly, and the queen will give him the entire quest... so if the general guideline of "If you get the text, your faction is high enough," is correct, Darvax is right on the money.

yes, the cords can drop VERY VERY rarely from a rare mob in the library area.

Not a miss-post. Saw them myself. Our MT got them. We were on our way in to kill the Nobles for the epic drops and got delayed in the Library. *make damn sure everyone knows not to cast heals when your not pulling and someone starts taking dmg in that room, TRW from 1 stupid person. /sigh*

An old post, I know - but I couldn't find any estimates on how many gobbos I gotta kill to get the faction required. Unfortunately, before I found out that I needed the faction I had spent about 3(?) hours doing 2 overking spawns. I'm assuming he's on the faction I need to gain.

Any estimations? And I'm assuming I'd be better off waiting to do this at 60 when I can assassinate.

If I recall, from Max KOS to Warmly its around 3000-3500 hits.

1 skin turn-in = 3 hits
2 salt turn-in = 3 hits
1 gobbie kill = 1 hit?

Turn in the skins and salts seperate? (ie 1 skin at a time and 2 salts at a time).

You can turn in 4 skins at a time as long as they are not stacked. You can turn in 4 salts at the same time as well, as long as they are not stacked. You can turn in two skins and two salts, etc... As long you do not stack them, it doesn't matter.

Apparently doing the 2nd ring, which you can do at high warmly. will put you to ally. I was tring to MQ this part but they ended up with the ring I assume someone had handed ring 1 to the herald so I can't confirm that.

Turns out the factioning and the angry goblin were the easy parts. Trying to get Drusilla has held me up for about 8 months now. She normally dies about 15 minutes after spawning anymore...
