I just recently played splinter cell for the first time. Needless to say, i was more than impressed. (never really was into video games other than RPGs)

My question, is there a book or a series of books that focus on the character from splinter cell? I know he did the books that focused on the Jack Ryan character, but never knew about the "awesome spy espionoge" stuff.

Once again, please forgive if this is a very stupid question. Id like to read some stories based off of this character. Truth be told, Ive watched many movies that were based off of his books, but never read anything by him.

There is the op force series, as well as the Jack Ryan series. I believe Splinter Cell is loosely based off the netforce organization in the op force series. I could be wrong. I'm personally a huge fan of the Jack Ryan series. I've read pretty much each 700 to 1400 page book acouple of times.

well theres no charecter named sam fisher, however, in the Jack Ryan series, there is a charecter very similar to him named John Clark (Kelly). He's not exactly sneaking around buildings getting information and the like, but he is one bad mother and is a huge cover ops guy. Check out Without Remorse for one of the books about him. Oh yeah, he's in Rainbow Six too, and if anyone has played those games, Ding Chavez is in the Jack Ryan series as well.

Pulid, net force is like 25 years in the future, so considering that splinter cell is what, 2003 or something, i think splinter cell is a branch off from rainbow six probably. and yeah, pulid, so have i good writing though.

There are no books based on a single character like Fisher, best you'll do is Rainbox Six which is an international anti terrorist group. Say you took the best of Delta Force, Army Rangers, SEALs, etc., and made them into one force.
