X-Box now $150.

As expected, the price dropped right before E3. There are some killer deals out there and with some much needed kickass games like Ninja Gaiden, Pandora Tommorrow and big names down the line like Doom3, Fable and the huge xbox-live network its a bargain.

Xbox live @#%$ rocks, I haven't had it that long, but it makes the Xbox so much a better offering than any of the other systems. Having all 3, all I have played for the last 2 weeks on a console is MechAssault on Xbox live. Hara

XBox Live is a cool feature for downloading game material as such, but I found the experience of mic'ed MechAssault to be unpleasureable. I dunno, something about a chat room full of 13-year-olds screaming obscenities at me for blowing them up just didn't float my boat. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Actually, I take that back. Only some of the people on XBox Live are like that. The rest are 13-year-olds who always choose the Ragnarok, then laugh at you when they blow you up because you chose anything other than a Ragnarok.

Actually Deltar I found that in that game I think it was the Madcat that was unstopable. Whatever mech had the heat seaking PPC particle weapons, that was pretty crazy.

X-Box really is about live. If you never plan on playing online with it I wouldn't bother, I would get a gamecube instead. But there is something about playing Live from my living room couch that trancends most PC based online experiences. Mech assault and crimson skies are both excellent titles in this respect.

Counter-strike on live is great too, no worrying about lame ass wall hackers. Plus the comment about a GC over Xbox if you don't want live, having all 3, the only reason we have the GC is for party games. Personally I haven't played it(GC) in the last 2 months, and I've only had live for a month. Hara

X-Box live is great, even though the only game I have with X-Box live capabilities is Links, and I just can't imagine some 13 year old yelling at me "OMG You made that eagle, you @#%$ haxor!"
