How the heck do I get off this rock?
There is a city at the bottom of the tree that I have no idea how to get to. I am assuming that is the port out of Teldrassil. I have found the obvious most direct way (i.e. jump) is not advisable.
Suggestions for teh n00b?
look in the city (Darnassius or something - the city on the far east side of the land) for a pinkish glowing area (a tree that you can walk under into the pink glow) - it'll port you down to a little area where there's the hippogriffs (or whatever they're called - the Night Elf version of griffins). The ride is free.
Ah Schweet. Thanks Ruccus, I know what to look for now anyway.
Actually now that I read my post, it's the city on the far west; the one that you don't start at. Still look for the pink glowing area though; near the back half of the city.
Yeah, I figured that one out. Oddly enough, I had discovered that portal before and turned around because I wasn't ready to explore further. It was in Darnassus right next to the Temple of the Moon or Lunar Temple or whatever it's called.
