jousting and Backstabbing without looking at pker

Does the Backstab while jousting even if you aren't facing the mob or player still work on the Zek Servers? I was trying this against a mob and all I got was you aren't facing the mob as a message. Is it patched? Or is it just something that works against players?

Just players, but it's been pretty messed up for me lately (since a patch or two ago I am having difficulty landing them in pvp).

I been testing this extensivly in the Bazaar arena on prexus, and it works just fine (and its fun to confuse the hell out of other players too)
