My broadsword/regen scrapper

Well I have finally reached level 42. sure did take awhile. I would post it at 50 but I think im pretty sure this is what it will look like. For people that plan on doing this combo here is my templet:

So far with this build it is very easy to solo 3-4 levels above you. either 6-8 minions, 3 minions and 2 lt., or 2 minions 1 boss. Can do these without using inspirations and no risk of dying. Some key powers for me are the 6 slotted QR and stamina, 6 slotted haste and 6 slotted instant healing and integration. Without those you just cant handle the punishment. YOU NEED 6 slotted stamina and QR or you will run out of endurance fast. Broadword is an endurance hog and so is IH and integration.

for attacks I 6 slotted everything. Notice though that slash is slotted with 3 acc and 3 defense debuffs. I chose to do this with slash because of a couple reasons. Fighting red and purple Lt. and bosses (not minions) your gonna need alot of acc. So I put 3 acc in to hit the purple stuff right off the bat. It will miss maybe 1 out of 5 times but slash has a quick recharge rate and a very quick animation. You then put the defense debuffs (3) in it to debuff the mob. This will alow all your other devastating attacks to land and almost never miss. I would say like fighting an even level con or 1 level higher. This is how you get away with the 1 acc and 5 damage enhancers in the rest of your attacks. Build up is also key for a little more acc. I slotted it with 4 recharge enhancers so you can pretty mush use it at will. You also NEED haste with this build or you will be waiting for your attacks to cycle. Broadsword has insane recycle times.

WARNING. This build will suck at the low levels. It will suck bad. I six slotted hack to have a main attack and that will pretty much be your main attack til around 34. Other scrappers will be outdamaging you easily because you have alot of defense and utility powers you need 6 slotted early on. Group with close friends that take pity on you. At 28 your gonna pull even with other scrappers. You now have zero downtime and you pretty much cant be killed as long as you have integration and instant healing on. other scrappers will still be outdamaging you per swing but you can stay in the battle longer and when they run out of endurance your still fighting. at 34 your gonna have headspliter 6 slotted so you have killer attack. Insane damage with it 5 slot damage. ontop of that you get crits with it and now that they added crits for all attacks this gets an even bigger bonus. around level 38 your gonna pass up all other scrappers. You now have just about all your attack powers 6 slotted. No one will come close to your damage output now as broadsword has the highest damage output of all the srapper primaries. Yes it took awhile and you sucked hardcore for so many levels but at the high end you surpass everyone.

Some tidbits for high level. I carry 2 endurance inspirations because sometimes you will get close to running out of endurance because of broadsword. better safe then sorry. the rest of the slots are filled with acc, damage, and defense inspirations. Usually only have to use inspirations if you get some adds or royaly screwup some how. Been soloing peregrine islands from 40-42. It has nice groups of 41-44 mobs.

I would go over the other things but its not worth it since this build is for power gamers and dedicated players. They will know how to use the other powers correctly that I didnt go over.

I agree with you that Broadsword is an end hog.
Lower levels you'll spend on fight, then wewbsurfing while your hero pant pants there waiting to regain end.
That's why my new DM/regen scrapper is such fun :)

I was thinking I read something the other day, where someone had tested the Quick Healing regen, and sloting it with Heals doesnt really do anything? Anyone heard that also?

also, now that i look at it (i just started katana/regen scrapper) had you placed reconstruction somewhere around lvl 10 instead much later on, you'd have a relatively quick self heal available early on to help lower levels (it recharges pretty oft if slotted).

That would push health/STA 2 levels higher though.

I would not recommend ever slotting fast healing in the regen line, also I dont see Toughness or Weave. While I can go either way on weave, I am not sure how you can p[ossibly leave toughness out.

40% damage resistance 6 slotted plus IH will make you godlike later in life.

Wow also just noticed reconstruction is so late, take it much earlier and slot it out, especailly with Hasten being able to heal 2/3 of your HP every 30 seconds is key.

I am only 15 so far, and almost have the same build, but I took Constitution instead of Slash.

What is a good recommendation for slotting Constitution? all healing or mis some recharge in there?

Also is Slash worth going back and getting, instead of using the bash?
