been seriously thinking about getting it the day it comes out. the more i read about it the more i want to play it. the story line looks very deep and the game play looks great too. btw just reading about wow killed my eq addiction completely i've already decided on a char i'm going to make. undead warlock...man this game is going to be awsome

One of the biggest draws to EQ for me was the backstory and developed history. WoW is simply outstanding. The quests involve timely storylines of the world and numerous subplots. If you like quests and ingame history, WoW will ...well... WOW you. I've leveled to 19 just following the quests along. Just when the quests seem to start petering out.. more pop in drawing me to other parts of the world for challenges equal to my level. The system his well thought out IMO.
Edit: Egad I'm speaking in tongues lately.. .blah.
I'm liking the quest system a lot. You almost don't even realize that you're grinding xp while doing the quests. :)
