I've got some questions on the KT quests, I'm confused on what you need for what. From reading other threads it seems like all you need for the BiC quest is the 3 trials and then what kevrin assigns you to (Martyr's passage, temple of the damned, summoner's circle) not anything Tublik assigns. Is this true?

And then from reading this guide (http://home.cwru.edu/~srp5/Gate_Tiers.htm), it words it like all you need to do after the trials in order to flag yourself to be able to request a raid is to do the crumbling sanctuary and get the 3 glyphed flesh from each trial area, which would mean that Pit of the Lost is for nothing. So I guess my main question is, what all is needed in order to request a raid? Do you just need crumbling sanctuary/glyphed flesh or do you need to do everything?

That is correct, you only need the crumbled sanctuary task finished (plus the 3 samples from the 3 temples) then you can request the first 3 raids. I was able to ask for the raids before I had any work on the other 2 tasks done.

So then what's the purpose of the Pit of the Lost quest? is there any reward for doing it?

It is for the BiC quest.

pit of the lost dont seem to be for anything atm.. dont need it for bic.
