Heyas guys- sorry for asking, but are you able to switch weapons mid-fight? Like in EQ, you could switch weapons anytime that you wanted to.
But I have seen several posts on how they are debating if they want to use a sword or a dagger b/c of the certain skills that require a dagger or not. If it is like in EQ, then you could switch weapons mid-fight and it not matter at all. Is it the same? so you could just switch weapons mid fight as needed by the skill you want to use?

I know some mobs have a disarm attack and you have to pick up and reequip your weapon to be able to use special attacks again, so theres no reason why you couldn't also just swap weapons if you wanted to.

I thought disarm has a timer on it, and you just have to wait until it's up before the weapon is used again. It doesn't go to your bag, it stays on your character's paperdoll window, but it can't be used until time is up.

Indeed. It has a countdown until you start using your weapons. There is no need to look in your bags to requip the weapon because you're still using it, kinda.
What I want to see is a swap weapons mode ala Diablo 2, where you can just press 1 button and switch to another set of weapons. Granted, that's not very likely to be implimented, but it's cool nonetheless.
And to answer something above, there are a lot of rogue abilities that you can't use without a dagger in your primary. Although you can still apply poison to maces and stuff.,

i was thinking exactly the same thing. not sure if it would be so great for a rogue, but i know my roomate (plays a warrior) would love it.
