I should've added to the 1st post that I stopped everything completely so that I could have allocated every last ounce of energy/concentration towards filling out and sending off the comfirmation email. ;P

Tananthalas looks like a good lurker. One of the first hundred to sign up for the Safehouse and quiet all this time. Maybe winning this will get him/her to come out of the woodwork and made a first post.

That's weak. People who haven't ever participated in The Safehouse, and didn't even have an account here until the contest was announced, were allowed to enter?
Although I disagree with you that joining in the lastr week should have disqualifid you simply because you joined last week, future raffles may require you haev an active account for 30 days prior to signing up for the raffle.
This is thwart the numerous idiots that tried to create multiple accounts to gain an advantage.
Although the time line doesnt stop them from doing so, it will help stop the causual person not willing to spen a lot of effort into cheating form doing so.
Measures will still be in place to detect people creating multiple accounts. It just wont require me doing it all by hand and at the last minute..
im sorry you feel that way Kelthana.. There are 1000's of people who participated onthe old safehouse, and remained lurkers until this point, and im sure that will continue..
Guess its the stress test for me :(...grats to the winners tho enjoy!
hmm.. I wonder if Tananthalas got around to responding yet....
this may mean another shot for someone else at a beta key..!

I'm also a little confused...... are we 3 just waiting not to hear something from Blizzard...?
I haven't recieved any sort of email at all yet... I'm getting worried now that I messed up somehow, or something got lost/misplaced... ;p
I'm pretty sure it's not my spam filter killing any possible emails, this time.......
The information was sent to Blizzard today. We should have an update fomr then soon with an estimated time for account creation..
It wouldnt suprise me if it was at least a week before you hear something..

well, it's just a relief knowing that it's at least "in progress".
I hear that the next push, (when they'll allow another large batch of beta testers) is scheduled to be around October.
I know a few friends who are "in" beta now... just.......Blizzard is not allowing them to make accounts until the next push.
And with the game scheduled to come out around December anyways, it would only be about a month or so after the next push that Open Beta will probably happen.
Congrats all, look for me on the beta or the pvp server :)

They keys are for this push. Blizzard waited till they pushed out the last 750 MB patch before we got our 3 invites to kind of lighten the load. The keys are valid for the curretn 0.9.1 beta.
Grats to the winners. Play on the pvp server, this game screams pvp.

Waiting to hear back from Blizzard on how long it will take to get the info rolled out to the winners.

Sorry for not replying earlier, I meant to reply to let you know that I
did receive the e-mail, but I do have a bit of bad news. It turns out
the timing is kind of bad, because I don't know if you'd heard: we just
started a stress test beta with FilePlanet. The guy that's in charge of
sending invites for the closed beta has informed me that we can't add
anyone until after that stress test beta is done, as our account
creation tools are being used to hold that beta (the stress test is on
different servers than the closed beta).
I'll be able to add your contest winners in 2 weeks, but unfortunately
not anytime sooner. Feel free to let your contest winners know what the
situation is if you like, and let them know we'll be adding them ASAP.
Let me know if you have any problems.
