Ok, my computer is futzing me.

It has two HDs, one set to master, one to slave, on one IDE cable.
And it used to have two CDroms (24x set to master, 8x CDrw set to slave)
I switched the 24x out because it was broken for a 50x. I set it to master.

The Bios says I have HD 1, HD 2, HD 3, and CDrom 2 (burner) installed
Windows XP says I have HD1, HD2, and CDrom 1 (the CDrom) installed.

If I change the jumpers to Cable select on the rom would that help? Or the burner?

Any ideas?

set all jumpers on all drives to cable select and have your BIOS set to autodetect, that should help (Back In Black)
