1 gold is alot of money, it took me awhile to get used to that. Remember to hitup the bag vendor so you can carry more stuff. If you are going to do any tradeskills, start as early as possible.
For rogues, the first aid skill is enough to keep you alive in the field.
Groups are limited to 5 people.
Use shift-click to hotlink your items and quests so others can see.
The email inbox is usally located next to the inn in a city.
Remeber you can use your hearthstone to set an an inn as your homepoint, so when you are done in the field you can port back to town. (60 min reuse timer,15 sec cast time).
Remeber to Alt-Z on your first grypoh ride while you pee your pants.
