What WoW is like, please send me a PM. I would really really like to borrow someone's account in off hours to try it out before it goes live. Long time SHer, etc...

My husband and I are very curious about the game. Maybe if someone is going on vacation for a week that could work? :) We could exchange phone numbers, or if you are curious if it would work out, send me a PM and we can share times to play or whatever.

If not, that's ok too. Might not even buy the game until winter since we're having fun in the sun now anyway :)

(God why does this sound like a Nigerian money scam?)

The game hasn't even hit open beta yet.

Blizzard has said that when the Open beta starts. Anyone who wants to download the client (2 gig download) will be able to join the open beta.

They have not set a date for the open beta yet, so you haven't missed anything. Just keep your eye out on their boards for when its going to start.

Kinare, the game won't even come out until november or so. this is a stress test, not actual open beta. so by the time "winter" comes around, you'll be able to buy it when the rest of us do. and you'll probably have gotten into open beta before then.

of course, the question that begs asking is, did either of you sign up for the stress test? it WAS free, and damn near impossible not to get in.

I even had a Fileplanet account and still got put on the waiting list.

I'm just not having any luck with this game! :hmph

Ditto on the wait list. Call me cheap or someone with principles, but I didn't want to pay $9 or whatever it was for one month fo Fileplanet and a week of stress test.

well, about that principles thing.. it is illegal to do account sharing for WoW beta, and the Safehouse DID have a "promotional" contest for Blizzard. so maybe this isn't the best place to be asking to do something like that :P *cough*

I can't recall rogues ever being too fond of sharing.

I have paid 8 dolars for crappy two hour movies which I hated. Paying 7.90 for a week of WoW was a no brainer. Its all about perspective.

Hehe, I didn't mean rogues were fond of sharing, but they ARE fond of breaking the law :D

Truth be told, I didn't pay the 8 bucks because I didn't have much time that week. I did sign up but didn't get in.

Well, the safehouse is so afraid of everything that they actually changed the name of the off-game-topic forum from 'Real Life Rogues' to 'Logged Out' because they feared it implied thievery and other such nonsense.
