Monitor Coating

I've managed to put a couple of light scratches on my monitor screen coating. While they're not noticable most of the time, when word processing or doing any other activity where there's a light background, they are highly distracting.

Does anyone know of a way or trick to restore the screen coating? The monitor is an Iiyama 19".

Since we're sorta on the topic, is there a way to buff out fairly small little scratches in the moniter (glass) surface?

I have a small one going across the center of my screen, most the time it doesnt bother me, but it's noticable sometimes.
