Today ATi released the Catalyst 3.10 drivers; you can download them from ATi's Driver Page.

Here are the release notes. If you're using WinXP without service pack 1, either skip these or instal SP1.

I wonder if this will allow the 3d target ring to show on my 9600 pro.

That was an EQ issue; allegedly fixed in todays patch.

So should I replace my 3.7 with this one if I haven't had any problems yet?

I dunno about you guys, but when I installed these drivers it threw off the "significant hardware change" windows XP activation thing.

It gives you 3 days to activate it, for awhile I was freakin out because the mother fugging thing told me I had activated too many times (this is the ONLY computer I ever activated it on).

I had to call up tech support and do it over the phone.

<insert Nenjin's obligatory question about the usefulness of upgrading Cat drivers to most current version here>

I've got 3.8 cats, but as before, after the problems I had with the last update, I'm waiting for a critical driver before I feel driven to update.

I haven't tried them yet, but the Cat 3.10s added OpenGL 2.0 support for all the Dx9 capable cards (which isn't really necessary at this point, but Doom 3 may make use of OpenGL 2.0). From what I have read there aren't any substantial performance increases, but it does have a fix for a rather important issue with Call of Duty (though I don't have that game so I'm not sure what the fix was for).
