I got an iPod for Christmas. I am so excited. I can't believe it. I didn't think I was getting anything at all this year (of substance I mean). I got handed a present, opened it, it was a iPod car charger and I kind of got that look on my face like, "duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." Er, anyway...

Aidden, I know you were raving about the iTrip a while ago. Is this 'the' way to go? I have some Best Buy gift cards now but they don't sell them at Best Buy. Obviously, though, if that is what I want to get, then I'll use the gift cards for my brother's B-Day present or one of the many things that calls to me from the shelves every time I walk in.

Yes the iTrip is the only solution for the iPod to consider..

The fact it is fully integrated into the Poddy, requires no additional power source, and can tune to any freq on the dial makes it THE transmitter..

check apples accessorie page to order online.. But if you have an Apple store close to you you will save shipping cost..

Thanks, Aidden. That was exactly what I wanted.

Edit: Hmm, I think I *may* hang on to just my tape adapter for the moment. I heard the quality is better w/ tape, I don't know by how much though. I may get bored and drive to the Apple Store and change my mind sometime next week, it's so cool to have a FM transmitter Edited by: Krimzan at: 12/25/03 6:24 pm

If I had the option to run a tape adapter I would as well.. I am one who always prefers a hard wire over wireless...

but I dont have one, so Im left with little choice..

When I do replace my car stereo, I will be getting a unit with a line in jack, and I will use that for the poddy..
