I've been trying to download the newest driver from Nvidia for my video card, but I don't seem to be able to do that. Every time I click on the download button, I get the "red square, green circle, blue triangle" icon in the upper left hand corner of the page.

Is there something I have to enable on my browser? Or has my ISP, Insight, disabled my ability to download stuff? I've always been able to download new drivers before, and I haven't changed any setting recently.

Any help people can give me would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have Java enabled/installed? Looking at the link, they have a javasript popup licensing agreement that you have to accept before downloading the driver.

If you can get to the page where it lists Primary and Mirror download sites, the links should be something like this:

javascript:_acceptLicense('ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/53.03/53.03_winxp2k_english_whql.exe');

I think you can figure out what to do from there. =)

Also, Java and Javascript have absolutely nothing in common other than they're both used in webpages. Having Javascript disabled would make the Javascript link not work, but Java is something totally different and doesn't need to be enabled or even installed for this. -------------------------

I typed in that ftp address, but I got that same triangle, circle, square icon in the upper left hand corner.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll get it figured out yet.

There are a lot of things that could be causing this. Tried with a different browser or FTP program?

www.filemirrors.com/searc...h_whql.exe might be useful too, if it's just a problem with your computer and NVIDIA's site. -------------------------
