Anyone had an issue with iTunes not correctly parsing ID3 tags? What's happening is I've started importing my anime soundtracks into iTunes and my iPod and in some cases, not all, it's iTunes library is not carrying in the genre "Anime" and the field is left blank.
It's really odd, and really annoying, especially since a lot of these I hand editted the ID3 tags to have all the info before importing to iTunes. To have to re-edit the genre in just for iTunes is repetative and a hassle.
edit: looking back through, I've discovered several other instances of this happening with other genres as well, but I don't typicly use those in browsing so I never noticed. Edited by: notwen at: 1/2/04 12:01 am
