Are we going to do semi-official Safehouse servers like we did with CoH? Perhaps one PvP and one non-PvP.
I was planning on pvp before hand, and what I saw in OB only confirms it. Let the blood and tears flow.

it was never a possiblity to not be on a pvp server for myself.
probably PVE, because I want to have both horde and alliance guys on the same server, which i don't think you'll be able to on a PVP server. Also, on the PVE server you'll have the ability to go to the Battlegrounds to PVP, which is where i foresee myself spending a lot of time.
edit: Fixed it up to clarify the brainspew i wrote before.
battlegrounds and pvp dungeons are going to be in place on the pvp servers also from what i understand.
going pvp here,with the guild ive been with for to many years now:)

I am on PvP in central
I'm going Archimonde, Central PvP. If theres an official Safehouse guild i'd love to get a charecter in it though.
I'm going Stormreaver on Central. Avoiding Archimonde like the plague since the 400member plus zerg guilds have marked it as their playground.
I'm in a small pvp guild, lots of smaller top notch guilds are going there too, so we're going there for the competition. Should be fun once it quiets down a bit.

Jebus, that would be why there was a 400some person/40 minute wait to log on, after every other server dropped me right in. :zombie

So you can have alliance and horde on the same account on the pve servers?

Wish I could just stick with the pvp servers, but looks like my friends are going to drag me to a RP server, which isn't really bad either I guess.
We decided on Storm after a bunch of other smaller (5-30) guilds decided to go there as well. Mostly ex SZ people.

Well the lunatic fringe seems to be going to Archimonde and Illidian, so I should qualify it as most of the quality SZers.

Hard to do any server with the 1000 person queues to even get in. PvP servers seem to be the hot ticket right now too.

well as frostwolf has been **** all day, we decided to switch to a central server instead - amazing, 7pm on a central server and we get no lag or anything all evening heh.
so I'm now Lareine the gnome rogue on Laughing Skull.

There is no point to online world games without PVP,I only hope PVP is balanced,not only in terms class comparisons,(I almost dont mind using an underpowered class)but I primarilly hope it is balanced in terms of risk and reward in PVP,I dont want it to become everquest where people could wear nothing, kill a warrior,and take their valuable items.
Also unlike everquest it would be nice if the most powerfull classes had the least amount of assistant spells,
(in EQ the powerfull classes all had gate,and some had stuns,and shields,and superspeed,all spells that belong on underpowered assistant classes)

as far as risk vs. reward in WoW pvp, there is not much of either. you die, you respawn generally near your corpse, you spend a few copper or silver to repair equipment when you go home. you don't loot enemies, and you don't make money or xp off of them, so..
