Ok, is it just me or are the majority of the Alliance males really ugly?
I'm having a lot of trouble deciding between Night Elf male rogue and Human Female Rogue. I'm very picky about looks in games ( hence why I almost always played Half elves and high elves in EQ), but while the human female looks the best - how weird is it to play a female character?
Are a lot of other guys playing females, or sucking it up to the ugly male models?
I don't think the males are that ugly, personally.
I would say the "weird" factor is entirely up to you. Personally I've seen too much ribbing of male players of female characters to really ever consider it. ;)
The human male's don't have wrists. Their arms are straight from elbow to hand, and are about as thick as their necks. Hands larger than heads. urg.
The night elf males at least have a bit of a wrist. The female models have various misproportions too, perhaps it is all in keeping with their 'cartoony' feel though - buildings that are wider at the top than the bottom, no 90 degree corners, and guys don't get wrists :p
Anyway, who cares if you play a female character. Just don't pretend you are a female IRL behind the character, and Play whatever you want.
Hey Senn where are you playing? I am on Gorgonnash server as a night elf rogue.
Hey Dove :)
currently on Lightbringer, NE rogue (named Senn)- next week I will re-evaluate server populations and my group [mainly old Drunken Tsunami folks] may all restart on another server if it seems wise at the time.

yea i didnt like the way the males looked either so i went human female they chicks look way cooler imo in leather, the males look better in plate.
i play a human male they are not that ugly .. some of the faces tend to have big fat nose's and funny cheeks though .. other than that his hair / beard look good, but his arms seem to be a very odd shape
Gnomes were simply made to wear goggles... give them a handlebar mustache, and the ringlets the mustache makes, combined with the goggles, is oddly cute :D.
They were designed for engineering! that has to be it!
