I would prefere to wait until I have better computer accessories to play WoW but im thinking about just getting it now,and playing it on low res for awhile,does this game play well on low RES?

if you meet the min requirements it will play well.
Windows® System/OS: 98/ME/2000 XP
Intel Pentium3 800 MHz or AMD Duron 800 MHz processor.
256 megabytes or more of RAM.
32MB 3D graphics card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, such as an NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or above.
(Recommended: 64MB 3D Graphics Card with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability, such as an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 class card or above.)
4 gigabytes or more of available hard drive space.
DirectX® 9.0c or above.
Sound: DirectX-compatible sound card.
Internet Connection: 56K Modem or Broadband.
Mouse: multi-button mouse with scroll wheel recommended.

Here's my system:
Athlon 850
512M ram
GeForce 4 Ti 4200
SB live
And it runs seamless. Only issues i've had so far are with server side lag, but i'm smart enough to keep it at 800x600 with not all of the bells and whistles on either.

I have a crap system at the moment till my upgrades come in the mail:
Intel Pentium III processor 930MHZ
512 MB RAM (Not DDR)
NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4400
WoW plays fine on my system, much better than EQ2. I can play WoW while LFG in EQ, I don't have a prayer double gaming with EQ & EQ2 or EQ2 and WoW, as EQ2 plays like **** on my computer solo.

i have a decent system but my bottle neck is right now i only have 256meg of ram.
EQ1 lagged pretty bad even with all the graffix turned off in full raids.
only lag i get in WoW is server side, well i do lag when im flying.
But the game runs very smoothly.

You can get away with lower specs if you have beefy RAM. I have a bitchin systems but I have low RAM atm so I play in 800x600 reso to keep from lagging in large (20+ people) fights.
AMD XP M 2100
448 mb ram
64mb SHARED unichrome graphics card
laptop.
it runs :) 12fps outside 20 fps indoors. lowest settings 800x600, game is still playable
