Today City of Heroes updated the live servers to issue 4. This brings a new voluntary PvP element to Paragon City. The full features of the update can be read here (http://www.cityofheroes.com/features_update7.html), on CoH's Updates page.

In addition to PvP combat, issue 4 also adds a more robust costume generator including the ability to customize body scaling, giving each individual a more unique appearance.

I like some of the little things they did too. They revamped the LFG so you can select whether you are interested in hunting, missions, task force, etc. You can also supply extra info like maybe you are a healer or are looking for a particular task force.

During combat you will now know when you are held or immobilized because it will say so on your screen. You don't have to try to decipher the power icons or wait for mouseover to occur. Heck some people don't know the difference between block of ice or chillbain anyhow.

Now when missions are complete a handy blue exit button appears. Before you had to click on the green mission complete text.

Actually, I think the most useful item for issue 4 is the third hotkey tray. With my scrapper I had a few passive powers which don't need hotkeys, but with my blaster and controller (and the addition of more temp powers) I found myself removing powers to fit other powers in. With the third tray it makes it easier to keep all the powers available without scrolling back and forth.

I do find that clickies (both doors and items) seem to be more tempermental than before; I found myself having to click multiple times or move around an object to get into a spot to be able to properly click on an item.

Another weird bug: Sometimes after you kill mobs, they still stay standing. Makes for weird overkill when you are fighting large groups using AOEs.
