OK, I can live with the WB giving Steve Harvey yet another new show. I can live with the WB and X-men Evolutions. But they've crossed the line.
OK, so anyone who watches pretty much any show on the WB, you've probably seen the promo's for tonight's Angel. The return of Spike. That's all the promos talked about. Great, Buffy's over, but at least we get Spike. Now, anyone watch Angel tonight? Guess how much screen time Spike got. Guess when he was brought in. Go on, guess. THE LAST 10 SECONDS. HE HAD LIKE 5 #$%^'N SECONDS OF HIS WHOLE SELF ON SCREEN (About 5 more of him appearing). Now, look at Harmony. She appeared a decent ways into the episode, and actually had screen time. Then there was the whole, you know, plot. Any one of those things would have made a fine promo. Yeah, seeing Harmony was a nice suprise, and it was nice they didn't spoil it with promos, but think how much better it would have been to be suprised by Spike. But the ratings, you say, the ratings! OK, fair enough, promoing Spike will attract Buffy fans. BUT, BUT, half the clips they used in the promos WEREN'T EVEN FROM TONIGHT'S EPISODE!!! Spike was LITERALLY the last 10 seconds of the show, nothing else. It's one thing to tease from the next episode, but when you're advertising that episode, DON'T USE CLIPS FROM ANOTHER, LATER EPISODE.
Oh, and is it just me, or did Harmony get some, erm, silicone protection from stakes? Maybe I just haven't seen her in too long :P "Age and wisdom don't always go together, I've found. ... Some people just become stupid with more authority." -- Terry Pratchett

To answer your last question first...she always had those, but you were too busy seeing her as a total skank to notice.

I too, was looking forward to seeing Spike, and pretty pissed off they waited until the end to do it. However, they added so many other morality issues, new plots and sub-plots that I was on overload after about 20 minutes trying to keep track of all the possibilities.

Although, tell me how cool this line was: "So it turns out that as the boss, I have a helicopter."

I actually saw that coming as soon as the BlackOps guy hit the van for it to move. But I still loved hearing him say it.

@#%$, I missed it. When is this show on again?

And isn't spike supposed to be, ya know, blown up? "Classes are not that out of balance -AbsorEQ"

This is a little off topic, but is Angel the same style of show as Buffy? I really enjoyed Buffy, but haven't ever watched Angel.

I actually found the first 20-30 minutes kind of annoying, they seemed too intent on adding a bunch of one liners and what not. Some of them /were/ really good, though. "Age and wisdom don't always go together, I've found. ... Some people just become stupid with more authority." -- Terry Pratchett

Angel is a spin-off from Buffy, and there have already been numerous character cross-overs. The world they live in contins the same stuff, although LA is admittedly a totally different setting then Sunnydale. If you liked BtVS, you'll probably like Angel. Hopefully the Spike they bring into the Angel series will have more of his bad-boy attitude then that wishy-washy I'm in love with Buffy attitude he had at the end of BtVS' run.

I must say I liked one of spikes lines in the "Next Episode Preview"

<butler type guy answers door>
"Hello Im Angel with Wolfram and Heart."
<guy at door looks at Spike>
"Im his date."
<Angel rolls his eyes and seems to start to say something before the scene ends.>

Hahah, yeah, that line was great.
Couple more questions (My last post was right before leaving for school, didn't have time to type much :P).
Was it just me or was Fred a little...peppier than usual?
Why was everything in Metropolis blue? (OK, wrong show, but come on, it was on right before Angel! :P)
How the #$%^ can Angel talk when his windpipe is getting crushed? He doesn't need to breath, sure, but don't vampires use vocal chords? :P "Age and wisdom don't always go together, I've found. ... Some people just become stupid with more authority." -- Terry Pratchett

So, that charmed season premier... (I don't know why, but I like watching charmed)

I wanna see Chris go up in flames, #$%^ he's annoying.
And Blaze, why do you like watching Charmed? Same reason we all do, and it can be summed up in one word: Valkyries :"> P "Age and wisdom don't always go together, I've found. ... Some people just become stupid with more authority." -- Terry Pratchett

Valkyries were... just, wow. If I hadn't been watching it with my sister, I probably would have been doing naughty things to myself.

Oh, I just realized another reason I watch charmed: Alyssa Milano in skimpy shirts.

Ugggh, Alyssa Milano /used/ to be a reason to watch Charmed. She's just getting nastier and nastier now though. The hair is ugly, but that's no big deal, but #$%^, did you see all the tattoos she had? She sooo shouldn't dress up as a valkyrie :P "Age and wisdom don't always go together, I've found. ... Valkyries, those are glowing chicks in yellow platemail with pikes, right?

Im guessing she stopped covering the tattos because she's now the director. Less time in makeup and if she got them she wants to flaunt them.

Though I do agree that they arn't all that great. And the short hair just makes her look stupid.

Oh and yes, fred did seem alittle more peppy. Maybe she's giddy about her new lab partner. She seemed to like him.

I agree on the short hair, but then again, I've never liked short hair on women.

Actually I may be wrong. I cant remember if she's the Director or the Producer. But she's one of them.
