Aye, I think they'll be tuning things as the game goes along. In the E3 demo the textures looked better. These screenshots were sent without details so I can't tell ya anything about the settings they were taken at.

Aha! You're right, the font reminds me of Shadowbane! I was trying to place that.

Fortunately (judging from what I saw at E3 and elsewhere) it doesn't move like Shadowbane.
