Why in bloody hell are they playing Xmas carols BEFORE Thanksgiving, HMMMM? Hell, they were playing them BEFORE Halloween!!

Good King Wenceslas can go deck the halls with Old Saint Nick, get completely bombed on wassail, and cover each other in figgy pudding, before walking in a winter wonderland and playing reindeer games together naked, for all I care at this point.

Playing the carols so early puts me totally out of the Yuletide spirit by the time it rolls around about 6 weeks from now. (Back In Black)

I work at a retail store part time, and we were putting out the first of our Christmas decorations in September.

Yes, September. over a month from Haloween, and over 3 months from christmas.

I personally think that display of Christmas decorations prior to thanksgiving should be a Class-A felony.

Yeah, one reason I will NEVER work retail again - by the time December rolled around, I was SICK of hearing the same holiday tape loop.

My ex-boyfriend found an ingenious way of beating the system back when he worked for Eckerd in high school. The tape player at the store actually ran the reels backwards so would only play the tapes that were sent to the store... until Mr. Mix-Tape-Wizard figured out how it worked and recorded a tape on his regular tape machine, and respooled it so that it would play on the Eckerd machine.

I figured out why she annoys me so much.

She is from Holland and says "uh?", "eh?" after every single statement. So on top of all the fish out of water questions, every single statement out of her mouth is a question.

This water is good, uh?

That sounds weird, eh?

Add in the fact her voices increases by 40% during these times is enough to drive me crazy.

I looked at it, figured out how it was put in, (I obviously knew I didn't put it there), realized it was obvious I didn't do it (given the date) and figured after a while people would realize it obviously wasn't me editing every one of wix's posts so figure why bother saying something about it. (Also, I had the condescending feeling that anyone who didn't figure it out eventually probably was a waste of my time to explain it.) --------------------------
