@#%$ @#%$ christ does this disease suck. Firstly, above all other things i hate being sick. Its the worse feeling in the world and most of the time theres nothing you can do about it. Second, I hate being tired because whats the point in being lazy and doing only a half assed job?

My throat is so swollen that the girl who sits next to me in english noticed it. Necks arent suppose to curve like this. When I finally do fall asleep Ill get woken up every hour or two because Ill swollow in my sleep, the agony of which will immediatly send me moanfully back to the real world, tossing and turning exhausted as I try and ignore the feeling that someone has poured acid down my throat.

Oh, and no kissing or alcohol until its gone, and a little while afterwards either.

Of course im also worried about keeping up with my school work...

RAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Oh and before I get the "haha, you should watch what you kiss!" Neither of the girls ive kissed at college have had mono or currently have it, so it wasnt even from something fun.
New rule-Im never sharing my drinks with anyone I havent kissed. period. unless were out in the desert dying of thirst. then they can get tested.

Sorry to hear you have mono. Very sorry to hear about the no kissing and alcohol. ugh

Mono is spread by salivia droplets. So maybe, if you sat in the front row of class, you got sprayed by your Daffy-Duck like teacher. All atmospheric conditions were perfect and the spit particle hit you at just the right angle.. Or maybe you are right and someone with cooties shared your drink.

when I had mono back in '84, they said no alcohol for 1 year

Make sure you rest, I had a relapse and missed 45 days of school. Had to get permission to go to next grade.

There are several ways for US citizens under the age of 21 to legally drink alcohol. Also, back in 1984, wasn't the legal drinking age 18 in most states?
